Alright Conrad, you've got me on Cromwell...forcing me to
return to my sacred text on Irish History (a 1981 National Geographic
10 page photo - big print spread)..... And discover the Penal laws
of 1695, designed to keep the Irish "depressed and powerless".
James the II may not have allowed land ownership but he surely would
have allowed his allies to keep arms and send children to Europe to
study Catholicism (both forbidden under said law). As for the Musical,
and the revolution, why not?
