Hi Everyone
 
My name is Derek Smith, Professor of Information Systems at the University
of Cape Town.  We have a large dept with 2000 students doing our
undergrad and postgrad courses in Information Systems leading to a
business degree.
I am particulary keen to contact other university faculty who teach IS (or CS)
 in Africa. I am a member of a task group of the Association of
Information Systems (AIS) trying to get
an electronic worldwide database setup which will contain details of IS faculty
 across the world and would include teaching and research interests.
 The database is built and in beta testing. The WWW address is

 Now we need to collect the data.
I will have the data layouts shortly and look forward to making contacts with ALL
African universities involved with teaching information systems.
