   Absolutely no offense meant here, and I hope none taken, but "Rhydur" as a
family name sounds to a non-Welsh-speaking person (me) like a
"Welshification" of "Rider" - a perfectly good English name. (As "Bolyn" was
a "Frenchification" of "Bullen").
   Could this be the case?
