I think you're pullin' the collective leg again right? People might be
interested in knowing that the Firbolg, the first race to inhabit Ireland,
travelled there on ships they took over from their Greek slave-masters
(yes...according to legend). And then there was the Firbolg warrior Sreng who
cut off the hand of Nuada the De Danaan king (the Tutha De Danaan invaded
Ireland after Firbolg settlement). And I think he got a silver prosthetic one
later...and given the technology back then...God knows what that thing looked
like. But I suppose it was one of those deals where on the way into the Banquet
Hall your buddy told you "OK...now whatever you do, don't look at the hand...OK?
And none of this 'I gotta had it to ya' or 'How 'bout a big hand for the band'
P.S. The monuments to Irish military units I mentioned yesterday in a post on
this thread are in Christ Church Cathedral _in_ Dublin.
Keep on rockin' in the free world.
