I went over to another bodhran player a few weeks ago, played the same
beat to everything (beat beat beat beat-beat) I went over to discuss it
with him nicely, he said he learned from a "professional" (angrily),
I turned around and sat down.. it can be tough!
Too much talent?.. out here sessions usually group by the level of
talent, except for Comhaltas .. they are great because anyone at
any level can play on a stage etc.. got to give them credit.
Maybe UCC should put together an FAQ file.. Seamus
