Its a more believable rumor than "Sharon Shannon doesn't know or doesn't
want to play enough music for long sets", anyway. The Somerville Theater set
seemed full-length; the set-lengths at the Stonehill Festival were set by the
festival. She's got a lot of new material in this year's tour compared to last
year's, mainly involving fiddler Mary Custy, including nice twin fiddle stuff
(with Shannon on the twin fiddle, for any who haven't seen). The material
on different dates of this tour didn't differ much, but that's par for the
course for material involving lots of group coordination.
