At the North Texas Irish Festival she played several normal-
length sets, but I noticed a bit of a grimace at times.
She had a big piece of foam rubber cushioning her wrist.
I wonder if she is having problems with a repetative-stress type
injury that was discussed earlier this year? That might account for
the shorter sets. Just a guess, I'd hate to start a rumor.
Great music, though! And you seldom see a young lady with
such impressive neck and arm muscles. It speaks well of
traditional music as a form of exercise, in addition to
spectator and participation sport... :-)
