Bear in mind that the sound levels at the main stage are not indicative
of those in the tents; they're never set up to kill you in the tents.
This year the main stage was fine all Saturday, & for the kick-off Sunday,
& for the 2nd half of Cherish (that's when I got back to it from Shannon
& group in the workshop tent); by the time I came by again for
Goats Don't Shave (whom I thought a fairly mundane rock group except for
their few Celtic numbers) & later for Shannon & group's last set, it was
far too loud; I put my 30-decibel reduction earplugs in & can still hear
the bass today, sort of. It was a great set anyway; I'd rather hear it
without having to muffle it.
