Harry Miller asked about Swannanoa Week. Here's note I kept from David
Daye. Sounds like a good week. Hope to see some of you there!

The Swannanoa Gathering, Warren Wilson College, Swannanoa, N.C.
U.S.A. Their "Celtic Week" is July 10-16.
I haven't attended nor met the uilleann pipe instructor, but spoke
with the director. A sketch follows:
4 75-minute classes per day. You don't sign up for a particular
course, but rather for the week as a whole. Students may take multiple
courses, and often have access to their teachers when teachers are
not conducting a class. Total enrollment modest, c. 100 max.
Classes: 1 75-minute class for each of the following:
Uilleann pipes -- Jerry O'Sullivan, for all levels, they
expect maybe 10 students. Another section
could be added.
Whistle -- Jerry O'Sullivan, all levels, another
section could be added.
Jerry is scheduled only for these 2 classes
so the director thought he'd be pretty
accessible the rest of the day.
