Kenny Baker is one of the better known bluegrass fiddlers, having played with
Bill Monroe, Flatt & Scruggs, and other classic bluegrass groups. He does,
howver, represent (to my ear) the slicker, more commercial bluegrass sound that
has drawn some criticism on other recent threads. Doucet is perhaps the best
known cajun fiddler. If your tastes are fairly eclectic, I'd give it a try.
