While not the colours of the Australian flag - Australian national
sporting figures wear uniforms of green and orange for much the same
reasons as you give.
Another option is to wear a little purple with the mix!
This suggests you want to indicate your spiritual side
to be transcendent of politics, and at the same time
indicate your origins.
We live in a mixedup world, but hopefully love is growing
and will in the end reunite all the world.
