Dear All on Celtic-L,
It seems that everyone must now include in their messages a remark
concerning their own personal views of race, religion, or politics. Celtic-L
was just recovering from the PIRA debate and fiasco, when Ms. Larney, in an
otherwise informative article about the Starry Plough, supported the
alleged right of homosexuals to march in the Saint Patrick's Day parade.
Celtic-L, as I understand it, is not a clearinghouse of personal ideas.
I, for one, found the disregard for the AOH, the New York judicial system,
"Rome", and Saint Patrick, to be extremely offensive; I did not subscribe
to an academic review of Celtic culture so that others may ridicule
organizations very dear to me with their own personal polemics.
Let's keep Celtic-L as Celtic-L.
