| something of the Ulster cycles and various Irish myths, but not much
| Scottish mythology.
 
  Consider them much the same.  Who were the "Scots" after all but Gaels?
 
  The Feinne are common between Ireland and Scotland.  CuChulainn was a
Pict.  Many's the story from Scottish Gaeldom that begins "There was a
king in Ireland"...
