Again, sorry to impose to list. Due to my screwing up, the following
IS my intended message to the list.
Sorry to post to the list, but I lost the original Feasta (periodical)
query. It has finally been quiet enough at work.... Some of this
info might be of interest to you all.
I did do an OCLC search, as was previously mentioned (Feasta's OCLC no.
is 12568227. In this country it showed New York Public, Boston College,
and Cornell Univ. (on my terminal I couldn't pull up exact vol. holdings.)
For curiosity, I searched catalogs on the Internet. (This is the part that
might interest some of you.) If you were not aware, lots of catalogs are
available through the Internet (sometimes access doesn't work because of
protocol differences). I searched the Boston Library Consortium.
Boston College LOOKS like it has from part of 1991 to current. I believe
they ILL inexpensively; the Boston Public Library "Research Lib. Period."
may have from 1972 to current. Cornell's catalog shows only earlier
dates, and I THINK I searched Library of Congress last week to no avail--
their catalog is not available at this hour.
The New York Public Library DOES Interlibrary Loan articles (& yes,
does cost a lot)--they do not loan books.
I used my university's gopher and searched for catalogs by keyword (by
library name). But you can also telnet directly using the catalog's
Internet address. One can access libraries around the world.
