because the page size, page breaks, line breaks, hyphenation
etc are totally irrelevant to the content. if the authors had
rto concern themselves with that stuff when they were writing,
nothing would ever get done.

i'm stunned that this is even thought worthy of discussion.
can someone please summarise any solid arguments in favour
of inter-twining the two and start writing for ep-odd,
spe, the digital typography conferences etc.
