Sometime in November:
The TV show "Murder, She Wrote" (usually on at 8pm ,Sunday evenings on CBS)
will be featuring Irish music in an episode called "A Killing in Cork".
Local Irish musicians Cait Reed (fiddle), Dennis Doyle (Celtic Harp), and
Richard Cook (pipes and whistle), can be seen and heard in a pub scene
playing "Drowsy Maggie", "The Merry Blacksmith" and "The Boys of Balysodare"
for dancers from the Maoleidigh School of Irish Dance. While everyone is
having great cra/ic, someone is getting strangled nearby. The exact date of
the show is not scheduled due to anticipated pre-emptions by various football
games. (The nerve!) But it is likely to be mid to late November.
