> Lani is pushing the wrong button!
This is the last message (despite all the provocative notes I've
been getting) I'll send: Clearly somewhere part (or all) of my
address is being used to generate junk mail somewhere in IRTRAD-L
listland. I have not, repeat NOT, deliberately done anything out
of the ordinary -- have been on the nets for at least two years
without having this happen. I'm using a mail program called "elm"
which does not repeat the address if I push the 'r' (for reply)
button, which may be a bug; I'm fairly sure I know why the designers
did it this way, to avoid clutter, but I'll suggest they change it
because of this.
From the messages from Margaret Steiner at IU, she may
also be becoming infamous in similar manner.
Anyway, I didn't deliberately start this, haven't been
consciously continuing it; and for what it's worth I deeply regret
any inconvenience or annoyance to anyone on the net. Pax, already!
