Hello! I have a couple of requests that I would like to put before you
for your consideration.
First, I was looking over the pleasant and very informative lessons of
Tom Thompson (his SG Courses) and I was wondering if there was a simular thing
for Manx Gaelic. I've been scanning the logs but I loaded too many files at
one time and exceeded my limit! So, if someone could aim me to a certain
place I would be very thankful.
Second, I posted my request for information on soc.culture.celtic where
I obtained the location of this mailing list, but I also received the following
>From [log in to unmask] Sun May 0 07:56:44 1993
> I'm sorry that I can't help you out. I'm a Celtic storyteller,
>specializing in Scottish and Welsh tales (which I mainly learned from my
>grandmother), but I am always interested in expanding my repertoire.
>Right now I'm learning some Irish and Cornish stories, but I can't
>locate any Manx ones. If you find out where I could, would you mind
>letting me know? I'd really appreciate it.
I've been quite busy with schoolwork but if anyone else has tales or
songs, I'm sure Barra wouldn't mind hearing of them. I know this request is
a bit irregular but I felt it should be made. Thank you for your time and
