As a newcomer, I have appreciated all the recent mail! I have a question    wit
related to all the music discussions. I have a mountain dulcimer and was
curious if they have any relations to celtic instruments. Mountain dulcimers
have four strings--two of which play the melody and the other two are drones
(when played in the traditional style).  Anyone have any thoughts?
 
Also, I would be interested in corresponding with someone (especially from
Ireland) about Irish culture from a personal perspective.
