Demad d'an oll.
I'm looking for the origin of my name OHIER. There is an old legend
that members of my familly has always heard about and which is about
the Irish origin of my family.(My ancestors would have been fugitives
because of the religious persecutions made by the english in the 16th
century at least). My Genealogocial researches drives me to see my name
written sometime O'HIER,but very rarely. My family has been established
in Brittany (near Saint-Malo) for 400 years at least.
So I would like to ask you if you have ever seen this name O'HIER in
Ireland and if you know the Gaelic form of the name.
Kenavo d'an oll ha Dewezh mad.
