Hello François, I suspect that this is really a Scottish tune. It was
recorded in 1929 by a Scottish mouth harp artist, Donald Davidson - you
can find out quite a bit about him from the Musical Traditions web page:
which lists his story and the 78 recording he made. Somehow I have a copy
of it (unsure which blog I downloaded it from, though I have my
