We will be testing failover from our current primary webhosting server (nollaig.heanet.ie) to our secondary (eanair.heanet.ie) on Tuesday 10th July, from 08.00-09.00.
We will also take this opportunity to remove the old server (samhain.heanet.ie) from DNS. All references to samhain should be updated to point to client.hosting.heanet.ie
If the failover testing is successful, there will be no interruption to
service. If not, there may be a brief interruption of under a minute.
For the DNS update, there should be no effect on client services.
However, if you have references within your systems pointing to samhain,
you may observe some outages. These references should be updated before
