Now, here's a challenge (see A below) for anyone who feels he/she is 
ready to tell a story to a bigger audience. Remember, it's in honour of  
Éamon Kelly ("The Seanchaí"), so do your best.

Also, here's a challenge (see B) below for anyone abroad (Irish 
residents are not eligible for B) who wants to get involved.

Tell Your Story Competition

An international storytelling competition dedicated to the memory of 
renowned Storyteller Eamon Kelly.  For this international competition 
candidates should submit their individual, unique style of story.

Prize Fund:               €1,000

Adjudicators:           Diarmuid O’Drisceoil & Johnnie Wall

Entry Fee:                  €10 per entry

Sponsor:                     Luke Moriarty – Moriarty Group

Guidelines:

This competition is open to anybody over 18 years.

It is not confined to Sean-Nós style storytelling.

Entrants may submit one entry only.

Two copies of the entry should be submitted either on, cassette, cd, vhs 
or dvd.

Maximum story length is 10 minutes.

Entries will be judged on quality of story, unique style and original 
presentation.

A short-list will be chosen from the entries and these are required to 
be performed during the festival where the winner will be announced.
General Competition Rules

No Entry Form is required for this Competition.

The Closing Date for receipt of entries is: Friday 2nd March 2012.

Entries cannot have been previously published.

Irish Post/Stena Line New Writing UK Competition

Adjudicators:       The Irish Post Newspaper Editorial Board

Sponsor:                 The Irish Post Newspaper & Stena Line Ferries

This competition is NOT open to Irish Residents.

Details of this competition will be advertised in the Irish Post 
Newspaper in the UK from the 14th January 2012. Entries should NOT be 
sent to Writers’ Week but should be submitted to the Irish Post, London.
