Although this does advertise how much I do not know, or at least hints at my lack of knowledge, once downloaded onto my Mac, then what?
How do I decompress and load, please?
Clicking on the downloaded file shows hex (well, not really) or similar non-meaningful data.

I just want to add one word of warning: despite being compressed, the
file is still very very large (almost 50 MB), so if you are using a
shaky connection with the internet, better not start downloading in
the first place.
