Hi all,

Has anyone had experience with use of Qiagen's RNAlater for preserving RNA in thick macroalgal thalli (e.g. Fucus, Laminaria). I would be interested in opinions or suggestions on how well this might work for preservation during trans-Atlantic shipping and customs entry into the USA.

many thanks.

erica
