Interest waxes and wanes, Lenore.

When it can, as it often does, that is a double bonus — in helping one,
it teaches and inspires others.
> And the poem is really not in Old
> Irish at all: perhaps we should have vetoed it from the start.
Then make part of the exercise showing the diffs between texts of
different periods, which would be an instructive excercise in itself,
but hard to comprehend without text to illustrate the diffs, so your
text is a good illustration to begin with, espec. for beginners working
alone and needing to get a feel for different periods.
> Let me repeat, I am enormously appreciative of the support ye have given me,
> but I'd much rather we worked on things that people felt excited about,
Silence can be a sign of excitement — silence as people watch your
progress. Breaking the silence can be considered applause. Keep going
and inviting others to join in and to help.
> not be dragging on through stuff that everybody is getting bored with and
> that is of interest only to me.
Right. Now, I might be more interested in another text. Someone else
might prefer yet another. It's really up to others to start a thread,
let it overlap with yours. Juggling with two or more balls in the air at
the same time is well within the competence of many members of this list.
> My best wishes to all,
Coinnigh ort, a Lenore. Treise leat.
