This line has only 6 syllables as it stands. I suspect that 'anois' here is
a scribalism for original 'anoisi' or some other trisyllabic version of
what was 'indossa' in OIr. It doesn't affect the meaning of course ('now
the barnacle goose comes over the sea' - which they apparently do in
winter; coming down from Greenland).
