Below is the text. I count 7 syllables each line. The 'a' in 'ar' is elided in the
second line. I see aicill between cuan/súan, gnath/thrath, sciath/thriat[h],
rain/laim. (I left off the macrons here as I wasn't sure they would cut and
I capitalized words that alliterate. I can see that a lot of work went into
composing this type of poetry. Corrections welcome. Maybe someone else
would like to practice doing this on future verses. Liz
