Also, it occurs to me that the short tale in which the maxim is given
might be a reasonable reading exercise for us. Like most of LL, it's
really more Middle Irish than OI, however. It begins:
Baí rí amra de Grecaib Salemon a ainm. Doronad dī cobled mór do la
ríg dia thuathaib. Ros gab mesca mor.
