Ceoltóirí Éireann's annual Hall of Fame
take place at the Mineola Irish Center on
*Saturday, February 20, 2010* (that's the third Saturday in February). The
Ceili itself will run between 7:00pm and 12:00am and will be followed by an
open session that will run until 4:00am. The Mineola Irish Center is located

This year's honorees include accordionist *Joe Burke*, concertina player *Mons.
Charlie Coen* & the late fiddle player *Mike Brady*. Joe Burke, from Co.
Galway <http://www.joeburkemusic.com/>, is an Irish legend. A multiple
All-Ireland champion and stalwart of the New York music scene in the 1960s
and 1970s, he is still remembered for the seminal albums he recorded with
Andy McGann & Felix Dolan. Mons. Charlie
Coen<http://www.pbase.com/c_kuiphoff/cherish>has won seven All-Ireland
competitions and remains one of the most popular
East Galway musicians to emigrate to New York. Mike Brady, from Flagmount,
Co. Clare <http://www.greengatesceili.net/mikebradyr.i.p.>, was a former
student of of P.J. Hayes, a member of the Patsy Tuohy club and one of the
most loved dance musicians in the area. Music for the night will be
provided by the Hall of Fame All-Star Ceili Band, featuring Joe Burke, Mon.
Charlie Coen and Friends.
