"Faoi Bhlath," Harry Bradley and Michael Clarkson's mighty "The Pleasures of Hope," and the fantastic new RTE 2-CD set of Willie Clancy recordings, to name a few?" Philippe.
I agree with Philippe, these are three great CD's plus the Mulcahys' CD
"Reelin' in Tradition". Ciaran Somers (Faoi bhláth) is a mighty flute player.
Regarding LP's they are actually selling better than ever, at least in Europe. I'm cataloguing new LP's them more and more in my line of work. Rolling Stone, December 10th issue wrote that sales of LP's had increased 37%, 2009. Haven't catalogued any Irish traditional music LP's yet though, perhaps the market is too small? Definitely a nicer sound on vinyl when compared to CD
