Never mind the web presence. Merely getting to talk online was a thing
of achievement and sacrifice then. Now it is all too easy to go online
and have no substance behind it. Working on the ground is where it is
now, with most newspapers ignoring local issues and publishing
syndicaged news, so, the more the work on the ground, the less of an
online presence (and vice versa).
