THRIC 2009

Tourism & Hospitality Research in Ireland Conference 2009

Contemporary Issues in Irish & Global Tourism & Hospitality

Tuesday 16th & Wednesday 17th June 2009

International and national tourism and hospitality is in the midst of
considerable change in the current economic climate. This creates
challenges for industry providers, state bodies, educators and
researchers in the field. Dublin Institute of Technology is delighted to
host the 5th Annual Tourism and Hospitality in Ireland Conference
(THRIC), and to provide a forum for debate on key issues of concern.
This year's conference will focus on the theme 'Contemporary Issues in
Irish and Global Tourism and Hospitality'. We are extremely pleased that
Professor Michael Hall, University of Canterbury, New Zealand and
Professor David Airey, University of Surrey, will be making key note
presentations. In addition this year there will be a roundtable
discussion among key academic and industry professionals.
