Due to spurious and misleading alarms on some of our ADVA optical equipment
a software upgrade is required.
This upgrade will be done in two batches. The first will be to upgrade
the equipment in Blanchardstown, Kilcarbery and Citywest. After this is
completed work will be scheduled in TCD, DCU and UCD.
The software upgrade should not have any detrimental effect on the
equipment, however it is possible that the relevant cards may have to be
reset. If this is required service on that card will be interrupted for
less than one minute.
