Link between Clonmel and Thurles went down
20090303 16:06 COC Contacted BT with call reference 1-636770796 to ensure
that there was no issue with the circuit connecting Clonmel and Thurles.
Contacted Tippinst to see if they have had a power failure
20090303 16:16 COC Tippinst have confirmed that Clonmel had an ESB failure
which caused this outage. Connection between Clonmel and Thurles has since
been restored. Backup circuit from Clonmel to HEAnet is still down.
Tippinst are getting remote hands to check the cabling and power supplies
to the CPE in Clonmel.
20090303 16:26 COC One Power supply to this device has been restored to
this device and the backup connection to HEAnet has come back up. Tippinst
are looking into restoring the second power supply.
20090306 15:51 COC Power Supply has been RMA'd. Replacement will arrive on
Monday to Clonmel
20090313 11:13 COC Scheduled intrusive testing of this device on Thursday
the 19th of March from 11:30 - 12:30. This will impact TippInst resilient
20090319 12:19 COC This has been taken down and brought back up again. The
issue has not been resolved and is currently residing with the TAC.
20090408 17:27 COC Chassis has been replaced which did not resolve the
issue. Cisco have recommended updating IOS. Scheduling this change.
