No solution but a few suggestions you might want to chase:
gil perhaps gile or gille?
bòla(i)s consider ò < à, l < ll, l < lt
perhaps wrong parsing? bó(-)lus
loan from English bolus? (though if memory serves right, that's something an
animal has chewed)
Irish? a-bh < an bhf - not that my Irish dictionaries throw anything
sensible up for fól(l)a(s)
