The Greeks, and Indians, liked to make the ugly look more attractive. Possibly the genuine Celtic echidna viper/wyvern was a goat-headed snake, as on the Gundestrup cauldron etc. The capital of Macedonia was Odessa "the bleaters" (goats), and odessa /ode "speak, prophesy" links with OVATe and VATican "place of prophesy". So Echidna probably spoke like a goat of prophecy. Goat wool "khamlat, kemel" made camelot cloth for chimere robes, as in Chimera (chimaira "goat"), daughter of Echidna and warrior against Greeks.
Camulos war-goat would speak in accord with Ogma who possibly wore chimere like bishops today in UK Parliament, for speaking. Bishops wear chimere at Windsor under the sculpted Chimera war-goat Yale on the roof, with the dragon of George from Georgia, where Jason found a dragon and the golden fleece.
