BT have notified us that they will be carrying out emergency maintenance on
various 10M/100M ethernet links.
Intermitted outages of 15 minutes during the three hour window affecting
EPA, NUI, HETAC and HRB. This will also affect the IT Blanchardstown
research link (general ITB traffic should not be affected) and an An Cheim
to Broomhill link which is not yet in production.

20080727 09:24 GL Outages were seen at 02:59. Circuits are stil down after
the allotted maintenance window. Will give BT a call now
20080727 09:43 GL Gave circuit IDs, reminded them of maintenace window and
they are investigating what has happened. Awating reply
20080727 10:56 GL RFO given by BT was that an upgrade to one of their core
devices in Citywest went ahead this morning but the trunk link to their
core went down and that port has been reset. Circuits back up at 10:51.
