The active peering points for RCSI will be migrated to the two new CRS
routers in Citywest and Kilcarbery Park. This work will be coordinated
with a new CPE router being commissioned at RCSI.
Minimal service interruption, and probably none, is expected. Commissioning
and testing will involve BGP sessions being established and torn down
(which may result in periods of asymmetrical routing while BGP converges),
and HSRP transition testing (which may introduce slight delays in traffic
being routed correctly from the LAN) .
