20080310 09:19 TG Verizon informs us that outage has been caused by a
damaged fibre on a sub-sea cable between Ireland and Scotland.
20080310 14:27 TG Verizon have stated repair ship is awaiting better
weather conditions before it can start investigations.
20080314 09:57 TG Verizon report that a repair boat should be available
this Sunday. Repair work on the fibre will commence on Monday, weather
20080325 12:44 OMG Work is ongoing. Bad weather over the last week has
hampered repair work. The latest update from Janet NOC is that "Repair
boat is still working on dragging up the first part of the fibre break".

20080328 11:13 OMG Janet NOC have provided the following update: "Verizon
are unable to get the steel straps for the euroduct until Sunday, this has
pushed back the completion date until Friday 4th April. We will update
this ticket when we have more information."
20080404 09:14 LT Latest update from JANET NOC: "Verizon have informed us
that the Belfast end of the cable will be lifted tomorrow. The fix time
has now been pushed back to Tuesday 8th".
