20080412 11:54 GL Left a voice mail and email to James Healy in DCU.
Awaiting reply. Rang NTL to ask if they were aware of this outage and if
any maintenance was going on. No maintenance scheduled and they are aware
of the outage. According to their monitoring tool, the outage looks like
it occurred at the Tony Ryan end. Will not ask NTL to check fibre until we
know what the situation on the Tony Ryan end
20080412 12:23 GL Tony Ryan Switch back up. From looking at the logs the
switch was restarted at 12:14 so suspected power issue/maintenance onsite.
Keeping ticket open until definite reason for outage is discovered.
20080413 09:42 GL The link between the Tony Ryan Academy switch (Gig
1/0/12 - Tony Ryan Student Link) and the DCU head end switch (Gig2/0/4)
went down at 09:00. No production traffic is bein carried over this link.
