Well, shucks, I should have read through to the end of the thread!
The Irish have kept the best ancestral records of any people I know.
Well... at least that's my opinion. They did it through story
telling and keeping the stories accurate to the best of their
ability. I'm a story teller. I'm also the chronicler of our family.
In my lifetime I hope to record the essence of who we (the McCarthy-
Sackinger Clan) were. It was the celts who started this chronicling
or we wouldn't have such good records from so long ago.
