Anyway, it is a typical device of the storyteller, to let the listeners
know the door was left open against Conall's request and leave them 'ar
bís' to know what befalls. 'Conall' being one of the loveliest Irish
names of all, we cannot help but wonder what could be in store for him,
with, of course, the name 'Bélchú' almost inviting its own
interpretation in the context.
