DIL s.v. "2 noínden" "warlike gathering..." (N 61.49) cites a very similar
phrase referring to Conall Cernach (ZCP 1, 103.1):
"fer na dechaid asa naindin riam erat ro bai gai ina laim gon [= cen] cenn
"a man who would never come out of his noínden, any time he had a spear in
his hand, without (bringing) a head of a Connacht man with him"
