20070925 12:04 OMG Investigating. RG talked to Kieran Kennedy in IT Sligo
who said they aren't having any local power issues.
20070925 12:45 OMG Contacted E-net to see if they are having any local
fibre issues in Sligo. They did an ODTR trace and aren't seeing any breaks
on the fibre. E-net ticket #TS1236.
20070925 12:46 OMG Phoned IT Sligo again and asked Kieran to check the
power to HEAnet's equipment. General IP, An Cheim and Commodity IP access
has returned to IT Sligo as of 12:41.
12:48 Kieran called back to say that there were no lights on the 3750
(sligo-it-sw1) when he went up to the room to check even though he could
hear the fan going inside it. He checked all the cables were seated
properly and none were loose, but the switch powered up and connectivity
has been restored. Will monitor for 24hours.
