Ewan McColl & Peggy Seeger, Dominic Behan played a few times at the
Lincoln Folk Club upstairs at the Turk's Head in the early sixties. I
was playing in a blues band at the time but a couple of us in the band
were very interested in "folk music", and went every Sunday night for a
listen. Being of a tender age, and deep into Lightnin' Hopkins, Little
Walter, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson etc., we found Ewan and Peggy
immensely boring I'm afraid, droning on and on, but Dominic Behan seemed
cool. Looking back though I'm glad I heard them sing
