Hi Atsushi, why not try it out? You don't need a lot of people. For myself, Piscataway is a bit far, especially mid week, so I likely wouldn't go too often. I am at least an hour away, and fall asleep at the wheel, especially after a hard day's work. Not too many live in my area though, so who knows. If you start one, I'd be happy to email our list for you.

Subject: Q: Starting New Session--Central NJ
Hi folks in NJ,
Let me first say that I have been enjoying playing with you all. Music wise,
moving to NJ was the best decision.
I'm wondering how realistic/practical/feasible/meaningful to set up a new
weekly session in Central NJ during week.
I don't have any concrete ideas as to towns, what day, venues or anything.
So, at this moment, it's just my "thought experiment".
But when I drive through Somerville during lunch, I see an Irish place, and
I wonder how come there isn't a session there.
I know that hectic life in NJ and terrible traffic make sessions on weekends
more desirable, but there are plenty of sessions on sundays already. I know
from my experience in the past, if I have something to look forward to in
the middle of a week, my perception of a week gets much shorter. So, I
really wish there was a weekly session during week.
Has such thing ever been attempted in Central NJ? If it's known to fail, I
won't bother, of course, but are there any people here (I live in
Piscataway) who would be remotely interested in setting up a weekly session?
If there are two more people besides myself who are interested, I think that
it's worth approaching the pubs and ask them if they are interested.
Tell me what you know. Thanks in advance.
