I reckon it's "brigh",

This time it's "ge brith".

"Ann an da-ri\ribh, ge-ta\, ge brith de\ na h-atharrachaidhean a tha\nig
air an t-saoghal pholitigeach, mhair cumhachd agus neart Eilean Idhe mar
a bha."

A meaning of "whatever" can be deduced from context, but the root
meaning of "brith" is not so clear. Is it a variation of "bri\gh", or is
it related to "britheamh"? Either one would make sense.
