Problems receiving INUK multicast SAs from Janet.
Trial users of IPTV service from INUK.
20070620 16:23 OMG James Healy from DCU reported problems viewing the INUK
IPTV service. Did some troubleshooting with DL. MBGP peering with Janet is
up and we're receiving 4 prefixes over it for AS3213 (INUK). Our MSDP peer
with Janet is up, but we're not receiving Source Actives (SAs) for
126.96.36.199/24. Emailed Simon and support in INUK an Rob Evans in Janet.
SAs came back briefly after I sent the mail, but they're gone again now.
Sent a follow up email to INUK and Janet.
20070621 14:35 OMG Janet are working on the problem (ticket #86493). It is
part of a wider problem that they are experiencing with SAs not being
propagated as expected.
20070622 09:40 OMG Robert from Janet emailed to say that they had resolved
the problem. We are seeing the SAs for the Inuk groups which were absent
before. I have confirmed this to Janet, and have asked James Healy to
check his end to see if he can view the streams again. The Inuk streams
are available in our office too.
