20070606 23:05 BN Contact DCU out-of-hours contact, but they are unsure of
cause of outage. No PoP access will be possible until the morning of
Thursday 7th June. Onsite contacts will investigate the outage at that
time and liaise with the HEAnet NOC to restore service. Out of Band
access to the equipment has been tried and failed. BT have seen all of
the Bluenet equipment go down and have issued ticket 1-489477250.
20070606 23:51 BN DCU report that the cause of outage was a small fire on
one of their UPS devices. They are currently waiting for the smoke to
clear, then they will bypass the device and restore power to the PoP.
This is estimated to happen before 01:00 on Thursday 7th June.
